A Letter from the Editor

Joining Theta Chi Fraternity in the spring of 2007 was one of the best things I have ever done.  I came in not knowing a single thing about what Theta Chi stood for and now I continually find myself in situations doing work for Philanthropic events, talking to alumni about current events in the house and in the Greek community, going to conventions, and continuously learning important skills for life after college.

My name is Mark Adam Vanderlinde and I come from Waconia, Minnesota, a smaller suburb of the Twin City Metropolitan area.  I am pursuing a major in Public Relations & Advertising with a minor in Sociology.  My position as a Major Executive in the house is the first major undertaking I have gotten to take advantage of as an active member of the fraternity.  Putting together this newsletter required a lot of social networking, time management, and hard work, but it proved to be a very enjoyable and valuable experience.

This edition of the Phi Arrow would not have been possible without the help of many other brothers.  I would like to give a personal thank you to Mark Puppe, Aaron Reinholz, Clint Severance, Tony Clowe, Josh Zajicek, Peter Gates, and Brian Fedje.  These brothers took time out of their schedules to either write articles for the Arrow, or give me important contact information for tying up all the loose ends.  Thank you for taking time to read the spring 2008 edition of the Phi Arrow.
