Alter Award -
The Alter Award is presented annually by the International Headquarters to those chapters which demonstrate excellence in all aspects of Fraternity operations. The Alter Award is the highest honor the Fraternity can bestow on an undergraduate chapter. Chapters are evaluated on the same areas as for the Chapter Excellence Awards and the award is given each summer at the National Convention.

Phi Chapter has won Eight Howard R. Alter Jr. Awards for the years 1986, 87, 88, 94, 96, 2001, 2005 & 2006, and continually strives to add to our collection.
