Exchanges
-
Exchanges are when we get
together with a sorority or another fraternity and
have an event. Sometimes we go to the union and bowl,
or challenge another fraternity to a game of football.
Other times we make up our own games like glow tag!

BBA's
-
Brotherhood Building Activities
are just what it says. These are events that are just
for us that give us a chance to get to know our Brothers
better. We ususally go paintballing once a year, and
have other events at the house such as a poker night.

Chapter
Retreat -
This is a BBA in itself!
We have a chapter retreat once a semester. In the
fall we have a large retreat where we all go to a
resort to talk about the future of our house and what
we want to accomplish over the next year. We also
have a retreat in spring to discuss how we are coming
on our goals for the year and decide if anything needs
to be changed.

Term
Parties -
Term parities are for Theta
Chi's and their dates only. We try to have two informal
term parties (on usually over halloween, the other
a spring camping trip) and one big formal term. For
our formal term, we usually rent a couple of busses
and go out of town for the weekend. Everyone gets
a room at the hotel and we have a formal meal with
a dance to follow. Our term parties are definatly
a time to remember!

Intermural
Sports -
We always have a number of
guys that are into sports. We play football, basketball,
volleyball, hockey, broomball, and even softball in
the summer. We always try to give the other teams
a run for their money!

Bison
Games -
Talk about Bison Pride! You can tell by the pictures
that we go all out when it comes to supporting our athletes.
|
Greek
Week -
Greek week is held in the spring and put on by the
Inter-fraternty and panhelinic councils. This is a week
to bring the whole Greek system together and participate
is different events. |

Homecoming
-
There has yet to be a dull
homecoming when it comes to Theta Chi. From float
building to bed races, even just enjoying the parade
on the front lawn, we know just how to make the most
out of the whole week!

Bison
Brevs -
Brevs is a variety show put on every spring by Blue
Key. Every year we team up with a sorority a put on
a skit usually having something to do with the nickle
trophy. |
Mr.
NDSU -
Mr. NDSU is a competition put on by Alpha Gamma
Delta. Every year, we have at least one contestant that
"makes us proud." |
Trips
/ Travel -
National conventions, leadership conferences, and
chapters accross the nation give us a chance to get
out of Fargo. These usually make for a good road trip
as well as an excellent educational experience. |
Parent's
Day -
We hold a parent's day every year that gives us
a chance to show our parents what exactly it is that
we are trying to do. This usually consists of tours
of the house, a formal banquet, and speaches by our
major executive officers. |
Pig
Banquet -
Also known as Founder's Day, is an event we hold
for our alumni. We usually begin at the house with a
social. The afternoon consists of an alumni meeting,
and the pig! Then the evening includes a formal meal
and dance/social at a hotel. |
Random
Events -
Obviously there are too many events to list them
all. Here you will find some pictures of different events
that happen throughout the year. |
